‘Gardener Guy’ to speak at Dirt Friends Festival

This year’s featured speaker for the Union County Master Gardeners’s annual Dirt Friends Festival will be Paul James, known as the Gardener Guy. The Dirt Friends Festival will include vendors, door prizes and refreshments and promises a morning of gardening fun hosted by Union County Master Gardeners.

EL DORADO — The Sigma Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda at South Arkansas Community College is seeking clothing donations for its Career Closet, which provides professional apparel for male and female students preparing for interviews, starting new jobs, or attending school conferences.

Rhea Lana’s consignment event starts this weekend

EL DORADO — The Rhea Lana’s spring/summer consignment event will be open to the public Sunday through Thursday, March 2 at the El Dorado Conference Center. The event will have over 55,000 items including clothes from newborn to teen sizes, baby products, maternity clothes, toys and furniture.
