A Magnolia woman and an unnamed minor were killed in a two car accident on US Highway 79 South of Camden on Thursday, November 30.
According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, at 7:34 a.m. a 2018 Tesla was traveling south when the driver failed to maintain control as they were negotiating a curve to the left. The vehicle began to rotate counter clockwise and the rear of the Tesla hit a 2017 Nissan, driven by Ashley French, 28, of Magnolia.
French was pronounced dead at the scene and a minor female in the Tesla was also pronounced deceased, with one additional person taken to Southern Arkansas Regional Hospital.
The weather conditions were described as wet and rainy.
