City approves $6.5 million in building permits in first quarter of '23

The city of El Dorado issued 16 building permits January - March for a total of $6,583,766.48, according to information provided by Robert Edmonds, director of public works.

In January, three permits valued at $1,227,000 were issued to:

Chris McKnight, 702 S. Timberlane, new non-residence, $700,000.

Brandon Bilo, 369 Augusta Drive, new residence, $482,000.

Gary Johnson, 215 E. Main, remodel non-residence, $45,000.

Six permits totaling $311,500 were issued in February. They include:

Belin Construction, 148 Oak Hill Circle, new residence, $193,500.

Prime Liquors, 1033 E. Hillsboro, $60,000.

J&T Lee, Inc., 503 N. West Ave., remodel non-residence, $50,000.

RJL Construction Company, 1217 N. Roselawn, $8,000.

4A Towing, 1024 E. Cook, demolition.

Robert Arnold, 1511 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, demolition.

The city issued seven permits totaling $5,045,266.48 in March. They include:

Ideal Construction, 412 N. Washington, remodel non-residence, $867,736.45.

Ideal Construction, 2000 Wildcat Drive, remodel non-residence, $527,933.67.

Southern Fabricators, 100 E. Church, remodel non-residence, $252,354.

J's Remodeling, 716 Woodview, remodel residence, $75,000.

Lars Wolfe, 901 Bodenhamer Drive, new non-residence, $63,200.

B&B Mechanical and Construction, 3507 N. West Ave., fence, $19,000.
