As part of the El Dorado School District’s celebration of American Education Week, the students at Yocum Elementary put on the Arkansas Travelers program. The program took place at the Municipal Auditorium on Wednesday morning. The first graders, above talked about famous Arkansans and the native American tribes from the area. The second graders talked about the different regions of Arkansas and did the alphabet with Arkansas cities. The third graders, left, put on a skit about the Arkansas Traveler. The fourth graders talked about the El Dorado Promise and different collleges around the state. The kindergarteners, below, put on a parade of different Arkansas symbols before singing the University of Arkansas fight song.
