Datrina L. General was born Dec. 15, 1981, to Leona Browning and Herman Thurman. At an early age, she joined fellowship Baptist Church and later joined Bouldware Temple under Superintendent Kelly Owens.
Datrina passed on Friday, May 18, 2018. She preceded in death by her father, Herman Thurman; her brothers, Raymond Miller, Grady Browning and Paul Browning; a sister, Annie Anderson; her grandmother, Nora Miller; uncles, Pete Miller, Jr., and Auther Miller; aunts, Gladys Henry and Joyce Henry.
She is survived by brothers, Alvin Miller and Herman Thurman Jr., both of El Dorado, and Larry Miller (Carla) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Pearlene Williams (Jerry), Teresa Browning, Erica Browning, and Puttie Waller (Marcus) all of El Dorado; uncles, Anderson Miller and Desmond Miller both of El Dorado.
Open visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. The family hour will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6 until 7:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Superintendent Kelly Owens, officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
