FAYETTEVILLE - With more thunderstorms predicted Tuesday night, the winner's bracket game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Texas Tech Red Raiders at the College World Series that was scheduled Tuesday night has been postponed to 11 a.m. today.
The game will be telecast on ESPN2.
SEC West co-champion Arkansas, scheduled to start junior left-hander Kacey Murphy (8-5), defeated the Big 12 champion Texas Longhorns 11-5 in Sunday afternoon’s first-round game, which was followed by Texas Tech of the Big 12 defeating the SEC champion and reigning national champion Florida Gators 6-3 late Sunday night.
The Arkansas-Texas Tech winner today advances to Friday’s championship game and would play a winner-take-all championship game for this bracket if Thursday’s loser’s bracket final prevails Friday.
