Phillis Miller, 71, of Stephens, AR died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in El Dorado, AR.
Phillis was born January 24, 1945 in Camden, AR. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Stephens Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Adell (Cook) Barkheimer; husband Jimmie Miller; son Mark Miller; and sister Violet Smith. She is survived by son Scott Miller of El Dorado, AR; granddaughter Amanda Rogers and husband Daryl of El Dorado, AR; grandsons U.S. Army Sgt. James “Jimmie” Miller of Killeen, TX and Austin Miller of Magnolia, AR.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 20 from 11:00 am. to 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with graveside services following at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Cemetery with Bro. Philip Smith officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bishop, David Williams, Chris Evans, Randy Nash, Ronnie Nash, Andy Miller, Lloyd Young, John T. Miller, and Dusty Evans.
The family requests memorial contributions are sent to the Salem Baptist Church or Salem Cemetery, 81 Columbia 441, Stephens, AR 71764.
