Children’s Storytime will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Barton Library.

The El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce will host the Economic Outlook Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Griffin Music Hall.

Local artist Rhonda Hicks will teach a mixed media painting during Corks & Canvas from 6-9 p.m. tomorrow at the South Arkansas Arts Center. The class, which costs $40, will have snacks provided and participants can bring the beverage of their choice.

The Bright Star Touring Theatre will present “Freedom Songs: The Music of Black History,” a free show sponsored by Barton Library, at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the South Arkansas Arts Center.

SouthArk will continue its African-American Heritage Week celebration during the Foundation’s annual Unity in the Community Musical at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

The Junction City School Board will hear an update on the high school PEHAM building at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow in the special programs building.

Smithfield - Thursday Night Live! will perform at 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Griffin Music Hall in the Murphy Arts District.
