The team of Hayden McDiarmid, Ethan Hammons, Gati and Hudson McDiarmid took third in the 200-yard freestyle relay and fourth in the 200-yard medley relay.

El Dorado's girls were led by freshman Abby Thompson, who was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle.

Thompson, Rachel Morgan, Jessica Carroll and Rachel Murphree touched second in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Carroll, Thompson, Murphree and Morgan finished fifth in the 200-yard medley relay.

"El Dorado has been an under-rated team in the 6A/7A swimming conference," said El Dorado coach Stephanie Thomas. "The teams in the past have had the talent, but with the hard work and success from this season we now have the drive and the motivation to be successful. The fire has been lit in these kids. Be on the lookout, big things are coming for the El Dorado High School Swim Team."
