Union County Master Gardeners to present program on Monarch butterflies today
Union County Master Gardeners Community Education is offering a program by local Master Gardener Kerry Jackson on the Monarch butterfly and what can be done to save them.
Jackson will be speaking from 10 a.m. to noon today at the South Arkansas Arboretum. To help celebrate Earth Day, 100 packets of Milkweed seeds, the Monarch caterpillars host plant, will be given away to be planted.
The event is free and open to the public.
