Lady Wildcats fall to Greenwood

VILONIA - El Dorado's softball team met Greenwood in Vilonia on Tuesday and dropped an 11-1 decision in five innings.

The Lady Wildcats committed five errors in the game.

Grace Hargett gave up six hits with eight walks and two hit batters.

Offensively, Grace Murry was 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the fifth inning. Payton Scarlett and Hargett also had hits in the game for the Lady Wildcats.

TEXARKANA 3

SMACKOVER - Smackover hosted Texarkana in a non-conference matchup on Monday. The Lady Bucks improved to 20-5 on the season.

Smackover pounded out 10 hits, including a solo home run by Karli Gootcher in the fifth. Lydia Pullin was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Reagan Richardson was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Lexie Gilbert also went 2-for-4 and doubled in a run.

Abby Crawford pitched seven innings, allowing two earned runs with eight strikeouts and one walks. The Lady Razorbacks had seven hits in the game, including three in the sixth when they scored all of their runs.

Smackover broke a scoreless tie with two runs in the fourth and added three in the fifth and three in the sixth.

Megan Mullins and Brooklyn Dees both went 1-for-3 at the plate.
