FORREST CITY - El Dorado's bid for a third straight Rumble on the Ridge Tournament crown is still alive thanks to Joderrio Ramey.

A junior, Ramey scored 24 points, but none were bigger than the two free throws he sank with 4.7 seconds left in regulation to lift the Wildcats to a 66-64 win over St. Paul's (La.) Thursday night.

The win is the first of the season for the Wildcats (1-1), who will take on Forrest City, the host school tonight at 8 p.m. in the semifinals.

Two years ago, the Wildcats knocked off Forrest City to win the first of their two straight Rumble on the Ridge titles.

On Thursday, the Wildcats were able to win a seesaw affair against the Wolves.

The game was tied at 12-all after the opening period before the Wolves took a 36-33 lead into intermission.

The Wildcats fought back to tie the game at 47-all after three periods before Ramey's free throws gave the Wildcats the lead for good.

In addition to Ramey, Brenden Johnson was in double figures with 15 points, and Bishop Foster chipped in with nine points.
