New Bethel Baptist Church: The El Dorado chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will have it’s annual musical at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 800 S. Smith, El Dorado. A two-night revival will also be held at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the church. Guest speaker will be Bishop Shawn Smith, pastor of Greater Love Church in Misawa, Japan. The theme is taken from Isaiah 60:1 , “Arise, shine: for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” The speakers will be Evangelist Delphine Thompson of Longview, Texas, Minister Earlene Burns and Pastor Clarence Samuel of New Orleans.
