• Abundant Life Ministries: Spring Revival services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, at the church, located at 501 W. Block St., El Dorado.The evangelist for week will be Dr. Ronald Matheney, pastor and founder of Johnson Memorial Church of God in Christ of Camden. Matheney has served in numerous capacities in ministry throughout his career: teacher, minister, pastor, mentor and district superintendent. He holds a master of divinity degree from Princeton University. He is married to Helen Johnson Matheney of Camden. • Beech Hill Baptist Church: The sixth pastoral anniversary honoring the Rev. and Mrs. David Cook will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1511 Bethel Road, Mount Holly. Special guests will be the Rev. Luther Harris Jr. and members of Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

• Bethlehem Baptist Church: The Bethlehem Cemetery Association will have a business meeting at 10 a.m. today at the church in the Spotsville Community. Everyone with family members buried in the cemetery and those wishing to acquire a plot, is urged to attend. • Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ: The 24th annual choir anniversary will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1611 Detroit St., El Dorado. Guests will be Pastor Herbert Ridgell Jr. and members of Sunlight Church.

• Campground African Methodist Episcopal Church: Family and Friends day program will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Church. Guest speaker will be Bishop George Calloway Jr. and member of St. James Baptist Church. Everyone is invited to attend.

• Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church: The 156th Holy Ghost Convocation will convene at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Caledonia Community starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Morning services will be led by Pastor Silas Duke of the Northwest Baptist Church in El Dorado. Afternoon services will begin at 2:30 p.m., led by Apostle Larnell Grayson of The New Life Worship and Deliverance Center in Junction City. There will be a limited foot washing during the morning and afternoon services and there will be a holy feast between the morning and afternoon events. The public is invited to attend.

• Hosanna Baptist Church: The 25th pastor and wife appreciation will be held for Jerry and Gracie Ross at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church. Special guest will be Pastor Daniel Willis and members of the congregation of Union Mission Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.

• Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church: A youth day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1807 S. West Ave., EL Dorado. The guest choir will be Zion Watch youth. A puppet ministry will be put on by the Zion Watch youth. Guest speaker will be retired Command Chief Master Sergeant Reginald L. “Reggie” Williams.Williams served on active duty in the United States Air Force for over 28 years. During his last military assignment, he was assigned as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, Air Force Recruiting Service, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. In this numbered Air Force command position as the senior enlisted leader, he was directly responsible for executing all enlisted matters and enabling the development of the war fighting maturation and military readiness of all airmen on behalf of the commander. He was also the principal advisor to the recruiting service commander on the health, morale, welfare and discipline of the nearly 4,200 enlisted men and women assigned to the Headquarters Command, its four recruiting groups and 28 recruiting squadrons and 220 recruiting flights throughout the world. Upon retirement in January 2009, he was employed as a federal investigator and is now a nationally recognized motivational speaker.

• Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church: An annual men and women’s day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. at the church, located at 1032 Lynn Fite Road. The theme is “men and women working for Christ” and guests for the event will be the Rev. Lee M. Sanders and the congregation of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

• New Hope Baptist Church: An annual women’s day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located in Mount Holly. The Rev. Charles Henry and the congregation of El Bethel Baptist Church of Three Creeks will be the guests for the event. Lunch will be served. Everyone is invited to attend.

• Palestine African Methodist Episcopal Church: The annual women’s day celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, at the church. Guest speaker will be Minister Earlene Burns. The public is invited to attend.

• P.U.S.H. Ministries: A mother’s day celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on May 14. The theme is “The power of a praying mother.” Minister Earlene Burns will deliver the message. The public is invited to attend.

• St. John Missionary Baptist Church: An annual women’s day will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located into 1018 Wilson St., El Dorado. The guest speaker will be Sister Martha Carr of Zion Hill Baptist Church of Farmerville, Louisiana. Everyone is invited to attend.

• St. Mark United Methodist Church: The monthly first Sunday breakfast will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 2010 W. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Guests are invited to come share food and fellowship.

• Trinity Chapel Assembly of God Church: A first Sunday singing will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at the church, located at 11714 Haynesville Highway. Refreshments will be served after the singing. Everyone is invited to attend.
