EL DORADO — Union County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee members Cherrie Sweeney and Glenda Sutherlin of El Dorado and Cynthia Ford of Junction City were among 140 women who attended the Arkansas Farm Bureau Statewide Women’s Conference March 10-11 in Little Rock.

Featured speakers included Arkansas Farm Bureau President Randy Veach, State Representative DeAnn Vaught and Angela Toomer, Food for Kids Coordinator at the Arkansas Foodbank. The conference included a variety of educational workshops about Farm Bureau programs, health issues, committee work and more. Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.
