•Beulah Grove Baptist Church: A celebration of the pastor’s 25th anniversary will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 157 Union Road 283, Wesson. Guest church will be the First St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Everyone is invited.

•Community Outreach Church: “One hundred men and women in black” will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 106 E. Pecan St. Speaker for the event will be Pastor Herbert Ridgell and the Sunlight Church of God in Christ. The host pastor is Elder John Wofford and the theme is from Psalms 90:12, “Teach us how short out life is, so that we may become wise.” The public is invited to attend.

•Curry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church: Music Fest 2017 will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located in Strong. Guests for the event will include Men of Standard, St. John Male Chorus, Downsville Chorus, the Rev. Willie Smith, Mount Zion Male Chorus and others.

•East Faulkner Church of Christ: Scott and Jane Johnson will co-host a 10-day tour of Jerusalem and Israel Nov. 8-17. The deadline to sign up for the trip is Aug. 4. The emcee will be Deacon Russell Pierce and the theme will be make a joyful noise from Psalms 100:1. A pre-anniversary revival will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday at the church. The speaker will be Bishop George Calloway Jr. and members of the St. James Baptist Church. The theme will come from II Chronicles.

• First Baptist Church: A Men’s Day program will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church. The guest for the event will be the Rev. James George and Mount Zion Baptist Church of Spearsville, Louisiana. Dinner will be served and everyone is invited.

•Free Home African Methodist Episcopal: A benefit musical program for Bro. George Thomas Jr. will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the church, located at 733 Monument Road, Strong.

•Free Union African Methodist Episcopal Church: A youth revival will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the church, located at 3349 Strong Highway, El Dorado. The evangelist for the event will be the Rev. Daryell Howell of St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church of McGhee. Everyone is welcome to attend.

•Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church No. 2: A deacon ordination for Bro. Robert Henderson will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church. Guest pastor will be the Rev. Dale Sanders and members of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church family of McNeil. Lunch will be served from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

•New Mount Union Baptist Church: A service will be held honoring the 12 years of service from Pastor Doug and Kim Marsh at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 431 N. Pine St., Junction City. Special guests will be Pastor Jason Willis and members of St. John Baptist Church of Lillie, Louisiana. Lunch will be served following the service and everyone is invited to attend.

• Olive Light African Methodist Episcopal Church: A revival will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the church, located at 504 W. Fourth St., Smackover. Guest evangelist will be Bishop George Calloway Jr. and the theme is from Psalms 85:6, “Wilt thou not revive us again; that thy people may rejoice in thee?”

•St. Luke Baptist Church: An installation service for the Rev. George Williams Jr. will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located in Calion. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Arlin Carson and members of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Banks and the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Jersey. The theme will be from Jeremiah 3:15, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. All churches and pastors are welcome to attend.

• St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church: A “Saints of God” anniversary will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the church, on the Moro Bay Highway. The public is invited to attend.

•Union Mission Baptist Church: A homecoming service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 1621 Short E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Guest speaker will be Bishop George Calloway and members of the St. James Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.
