JEFF O. JANUARY
Jeff Owen January, 57, of Vaiden, Mississippi, died in an automobile accident in Carroll County, Mississippi on Thursday, Aug. 17 2017.
He was born in Arkansas on Dec. 27, 1959, to Jay Owen and Evelyn Sue Hammons January. He was a repairman for Thyssen Krupp Elevator.
Mr. January was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Amanda January Taunton; and two sisters, Gwendolyn Ann January Andrews and Jennifer Gail January Turner.
Mr. January is survived by his wife, Edie Stewart January of Vaiden; his mother, Evelyn January of Vaiden; two daughters, Ashley Reeder of Little Rock, and Kristen January of El Dorado; a brother, Eddie Ray January of Bogalusa, Louisiana; stepdaughter, Tiah Corley (Eddie) of Vaiden; stepsons, Waylon Cooper of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Clint Cooper (Sara) of Kilmichael, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. January will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at Vaiden Methodist Church in Vaiden, with the Rev. Finis Beauchamp officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
