CAROLYN BOLTON
Carolyn Bolton, 69, of Leesville passed away August 17, 2017 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 5, 1947 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Charlie Willie and Velma Imogene “Boots” Clawson.
Carolyn’s passions were spending time with her family and grandkids, attending and helping with her church, and visiting her many loyal friends. She was a very talented florist and decorator. She had a way of brightening any room with her flowers and crafts. She lived her life humbly, with an unbroken solid faith in God that remained evident thorough her actions in a way that words cannot describe.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Johnny Bolton of Leesville; her sons Scott and wife Trisha of Lake Charles and Todd and wife Megan of Alexandria, LA; her six grandchildren, Kallie, Logan, Aubree, Grant, Abbigail, and Noah John.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her closest friends who helped her through her journey for the last six months. Your help was a tremendous blessing.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3 pm at Family Worship Center located at 601 E. Mechanic Street in Leesville with Rev. Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 5 pm-9pm at Labby Memorial Funeral Home located at 601 S. 4th Street in Leesville. Church visitation will be extended Sunday August 20th, 2017 beginning at 1 pm until time of service.
