“I want to address the men in the room,” said Kevin Costner after taking the stage Friday night for the concert held at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium. “I know you were drug here” he laughingly said.
The packed room erupted in laughter which led into Costner and his band, Modern West’s first song. In between sets, Costner told riveting stories about his family and the origin of their original songs. Costner thanked the crowd for going to see his movies for so long and said “Many of these songs were written during the making of those movies.”
Josh Taerk and Ryan Taerk opened for Costner’s band playing energetic covers of all-time favorites such as The Rolling Stones’ classic “Satisfaction”.
