Sarah Meek Chenault, 94, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, in Little Rock.
She was born in Batesville on Oct. 1, 1920, to John Rufus Starr Meek II and Mary Lema Watson Meek. She attended Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, then served as a clerk during World War II in the War Department. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ralph Chenault; five sisters, Catherine, Ella, Mary B., Martha, Sue and Marian; and her brothers Starr and an unnamed infant brother.
She is survived by her children, John B. Chenault of Little Rock, Starr Chenault Boschetti of Roland, and Lawrence R. Chenault of Little Rock; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery in Warren.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock.
