Trudie Ellen Dumas, 96, of Strong, passed away, Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 22, 1918, to Rufus Larkin and Paralee Craven Gilmore in Strong.
She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Billie A. Dumas; brothers, Henry Gilmore, Rufus Gilmore, and Billy Gilmore; and sister, Mary Lee Hendrix.
Survivors include her son, Dan Dumas and his wife, Bobbie, of Strong; and granddaughter, Danielle Reynolds and her husband, Joeby, of El Dorado.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today, at the First Baptist Church in Strong with the Rev. Scotty Guillot officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time today.
Burial will follow at Good Hope Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Strong under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors of El Dorado.
