Amy’s Angels continues late UCAPS volunteer’s giving spirit

The Amy’s Angels pet food pantry was built by local artist Erin Awtrey in honor of late UCAPS volunteer Amy Thomason. Thomason’s mother, Linda Pridgen, and husband Chris said she would be “very excited” about the pantry. It is available at the UCAPS adoption center and local residents in need of pet food can take some free of charge. (Matt Hutcheson/News-Times)
