DAY 14: Saturday, October 14
TOPIC: Military
SCRIPTURE: "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him" (Psalm 28:7) (KJV).
OBSERVATION: Today we pray for all of those serving in the military. We are very thankful for the great service they do in keeping our nation safe. May we pray that they will not only be kept safe and out of harm's way, but also for them to have great strength from the Lord.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank You for the men and women who serve in the United States military. Though we do not all know what they go through each day, You do. Help keep them safe, strengthen not only their bodies, but also their spirits, as well as bring them home safely to their family and friends. We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
