TOPIC: Spiritual Leaders in our Community
SCRIPTURE: Appreciate your pastoral leaders who gave you the Word of God. Take a good look at the way they live, and let their faithfulness instruct you, as well as their truthfulness. There should be a consistency that runs through us all. For Jesus doesn't change -- yesterday, today, tomorrow, he's always totally himself. (Hebrews 13:7-8 The Message)
OBSERVATION: God provides spiritual leaders to shepherd your soul. Look past their human weaknesses and failures to the life of Jesus they are helping you experience.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we are grateful for every spiritual leader you have placed in our lives. Help us learn from their example and follow the way they live a life of faith. May Jesus always be totally Himself in them and us. In Jesus Name, Amen
