Lena Morene (MoMo) Holder left this earth on March 5, 2023, she was 92 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Lena Meggs, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her 4 daughters, Deborah (Mike) Flehr, Denise (David) Henry, Lisa (Earnest) Chickadel, and Robin (David) Hill, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren and 1 sister, Agnes Smith.
Morene raised 4 daughters on her own. She was a strong, Christian lady and God’s Word was her daily inspiration and God always took care of her. Her favorite saying was, “But God…”, reminding herself that nothing was impossible with God.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Young’s Chapel with Pastor James Bolding and Adam Ketchum officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetary under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
The family will be at the Hill’s home at 149 Kay Drive in Parkers Chapel.
