Mattie Louise “Granny” Wolfe, 94, of El Dorado, formerly of Banks, AR left her earthly home March 2, 2023 in El Dorado. She was born November 22, 1928, to James Emmett Case and Goldie Myrtle Dean Case in Arkadelphia.

She was a member of Banks Missionary Baptist Church. Granny was the vibrant, loving, matriarch of the family, married to the love of her life, Robert “Red” Wolfe for 73 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, not only to her son, but to her two granddaughters, and a nephew. Over the years, Louise reached out and touched almost everyone in the community as the local Avon lady. Her expert advice was “The redder the better” for both lipstick and nail polish, and she always felt most beautiful in pink. For this reason, we will wear color to her Celebration of Life. Never one to let someone go hungry, Granny and Popa were known for distributing items from their kitchen and garden. Her cooking brought friends and family comfort over the years, especially her deer steak, tomato gravy and hushpuppies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two siblings, James and Grady Case.

Survivors are her only son, Bobby Lee Wolfe of Banks; two granddaughters, Netasha Williamson and husband, Vance of El Dorado and Tonia Crow and husband, John, of Fayetteville; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Carmical, Garrett Williamson, Greenlee Crow, Alexandra Williamson, Emmalee Crow, and Sara Cervantes; a nephew Gary Case, and his children Brian Case and Christy Cathey.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Graveside service will be 2:30pm at Williams Cemetery in Banks. In celebration of Granny’s life, wear a color that make you look as great as she made our hearts feel.

Arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
