WOODLAWN - In the first meeting between Parkers Chapel and Woodlawn, the Bears pulled away late to pick up a road victory.
In the rematch on Friday night, the Bears made sure there was little drama by downing the Trojans 44-8 in eight-man football.
Payton Willeford, who caught two touchdown passes and ran for another in the first meeting, accounted for the Trojans’ lone points in the game with a touchdown run and a successful two-point conversion.
The Trojans (0-5) are idle next week.
The Bears (3-0) host Strong in a 2A South showdown next week.
