Janette McKnight Neely, age 86, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 In Magnolia, AR.
Janette was born on January 30, 1936 in Smackover, AR; she was the daughter of Clifford and Pearl Bryant McKnight. Janette worked for J & M Poultry in her youth. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, fishing, yardwork and the great outdoors. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of 65 years, Jimmie B. Neely and son, Michael B. Neely; ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Neely of Hot Springs Village; sons, Larry Neely (Lori) and Richard Neely (Angela), both of El Dorado; daughter-in-law, Norma Neely of El Dorado; brother, Tim McKnight (Andrea) of Smackover. Along with her grandchildren, Cara Leigh Neely, Vanessa Love (Corey) and Joseph Neely (Cierra), Rodney Neely, Jessica Allison (Justin), Magan Duncan, Clint Neely (Samantha), Daron Vines (Molly) and Josh Neely; fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Young’s Funeral Directors with Bro. Jason Yarborough officiating. A visitation prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A private burial will follow.
