Hot Springs police on Tuesday issued an AMBER Alert for a local teen who was possibly kidnapped after leaving her job at a downtown business late Monday.

Trynytee Case, 17, of Hot Springs, was last seen at approximately 9:15 p.m. near her job at the Pour Some Sugar on Me Sweet Shoppe, 502 Central Ave., talking with an unidentified white female, according to an HSPD release.

Case is described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches, 115 pounds, with brown hair in a ponytail, hazel eyes, light complexion, and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with the “Pour Some Sugar on Me” logo, legging style pants and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with any information about her whereabouts should contact HSPD Sgt. Scott Lampinen at 501-651-7711.

According to a press release, Case left work at the bakery along with another co-worker walking to their vehicles parked a block away. The two females were met by an unknown white female standing near a parked vehicle.

The unknown female asked Case if she could use her phone, stating she was lost and her parents were staying in a condo in Hot Springs. The female then changed her mind and told Case she needed to utilize the GPS coordinates and her to walk closer to the female’s vehicle.

During this time, Case’s friend stated she would go and get her vehicle, parked in the city’s parking garage. When the friend returned to pick up Case, she was nowhere to be found, the release states.

The friend attempts to call the victim, with no answer. The friend “panics and calls the victim’s mother who then attempts numerous times to call the victim’s phone.” The victim reportedly answered and said, “everything is fine,” but then a male voice comes across the phone and he demands $10,000 dollars for Case’s return or “they would kill and cut up the victim.”

The phone went dead at that point and no contact has been made since, the release states. Case’s cellphone was pinged and was last seen headed south on Highway 7 south of Hot Springs.
