Frances Tabor, age 86, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her home of complications of Parkinson’s disease on Saturday, April 2, 2022. She was born on July 8, 1935 to Johnny and Cora Lambert McDaniel at Calion, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and was especially known for her coconut pies. Frances attended First Baptist Church of Smackover where she taught Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Harrell Tabor; brother, Merle McDaniel and sister, Carolyn McMullen.
Survivors are son, Joel Tabor of Smackover, Arkansas; daughters, Cynthia Tabor Mullen of Allen, Texas and Dana Tabor Madden (Greg) of Bossier City, Louisiana; sister Judy Greer (Mike) of Coushatta, Louisiana; grandchildren Megan Castilaw (Josh), Michael Mullen and Kris Madden.
A private graveside service was held by Youngs Funeral Directors at Smackover Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
