Fair continues today
The Union County Fair will continue today. Gate admission is $7 each evening and wristbands will be available today from 5 p.m. until close for $20. Ticket sales begin at 4:30, with gates set to open at 5 p.m.
The Skill-A-Thon, a competition in which 4H youth take on the role of judges to demonstrate their knowledge of events, is set for 5 p.m. this evening.
At 6 p.m., the 'Old Timers Show' will begin. It is a 4H fundraiser in which those who have aged out of 4H and/or Future Farmers of American can be nominated to show.
Junior rabbit showmanship judging will also begin at 6 p.m.
