Yancy Dale Shirey, 82, passed away March 7, 2021, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
He was born February 19, 1939 to Yancey Clifton Shirey and Azalea Hammontree in Homer, Louisiana.
Dale was a pastor at Wesson Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Victoria “Vickie” Ann Shirey and Martha Elizabeth Coke.
He is survived by his brother-in-law Harry Coke of Hernando, MS; nieces Tamra and Alan Pool of Memphis, TN and Ashley and David Hutcherson of Memphis, TN; cousins Sondra Gulledge of Norphlet, AR, Donnie “Bubba” Thurmon of Norphlet, AR and Beth McBroom of Swartz, LA.
A masonic funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Young’s Chapel. Burial will be at Autumn Woods Memorial Park at Olive Branch, Mississippi under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
