Linda Sue Loftin, 81, of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Claiborne Memorial Hospital in Homer, LA. She was born May 12, 1940 to John Lee and Della Jerry in Union County, AR.
She worked as an insurance agent for Franques Insurance and worked for Miles Real Estate. Linda was a member of the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee, the Union County Equalization Board and Three Creeks Baptist Church. She was an avid deer and turkey hunter.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Ralph, Roger, Leonard, and Grady Jerry; and sisters, Dalzee Goodwin, and Tressie McCloud.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Loftin; son, John Timothy Loftin (Kelly); daughter, Susan Rebecca Loftin Cole all of El Dorado; grandchildren, Tasha Loftin, Brad Cole, Jonathan Loftin (Emily), Kassey Cole; great grandson, Liam Loftin; sister, Virginia Farris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Three Creeks Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Three Creeks Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
