Below are the number of COVID-19 cases, active cases, recoveries and deaths recorded on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Union County, Arkansas, the United States and the world. Additionally, local and state testing, hospitalization and vaccine information is provided.

The data was gathered from the Arkansas Department of Health for Union County and Arkansas, and from Johns Hopkins University for the U.S. and world.

Union County

In the Southwest hospital region of the state, where Union County sits, 11 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19 Sunday. No one in the region was in an intensive care unit and or on ventilator support because of the virus Sunday.

A total of 131,974 COVID vaccine doses had been administered by Sunday afternoon in the Southwest hospital region. The ADH reported that 10.4% of the region’s population were partially immunized Sunday and 15.8% were fully immunized.
