Charles E. Pfiefer

Charles E. Pfiefer, fondly known as “Diddy” or “Bull” to his family and friends. He was born on July 15, 1954 in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Jessie King and Garland Pfiefer.

He attended El Dorado High School and graduated in 1972. Charles was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Charles was employed by the city of El Dorado. He later sought employment with Pyramid South, where he subsequently retired.

Charles transitioned on September 18, 2020, after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents; three nephews, Rodney Hart, Sr., Donald Hart., and George (Tony) Thurman. His memories will be cherished by his wife, Carolyn Pfiefer; three sons, Montague Ridgell, Chaz Pfiefer and Drake Pfiefer; five grandchildren; three sisters, Donna (Curtis) Billings, Helen Paige and Marilyn Bowens; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Graveside services for Charles E. Pfiefer will be Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Old Hillsboro Cemetery, Strong, Arkansas. There is no public visitation at the funeral home. The service has been entrusted to the professional care of Andrews Funeral Home.
