The Wildcats led 20-8 after three periods of play and they put the game away in the final period.

Dumas threw his second touchdown pass of the game, a 12-yard strike to James, that made it 28-8 after the 2-point conversion was good.

El Dorado’s final touchdown came via special teams, as James stripped the ball loose on a punt and returned the fumble 35 yards for a score.

El Dorado opened the season with an 8-6 loss to Magnolia and a 26-6 setback to Little Rock Central.
