Nancy Loftin Hargett age 79, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. Nancy was born September 20, 1941 in the Shiloh Community near Three Creeks to the late Edna Bass Loftin and Joseph Yarbrough Loftin.
Nancy worked for 20 years for Judge Jones at the Union County Courthouse. After retirement, Nancy volunteered with hospice and volunteered on and off for 15 years at Hope Landing. She was an active member of Murmill Heights Baptist Church. Nancy loved to shop, have lunches, and take road trips with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gail Loftin Pilot; brother-in-law, Jim Swehla, and her very dear friend Thomas Price.
Survivors include; a sister, Linda Loftin Swehla of Greenfield, MA; a brother-in-law, Doug Pilot and wife Jeannie of Duncansville, PA; 2 stepsons and family: Donny Hargett and wife Lucretia, and their family, Joshua Hargett (Nan), Alyssa Alderman (Brandon), and Brianna Woods (Michael); Mark Hargett and wife Arlene, and their family, 2 close granddaughters, Kimberly Carter (Keith) and Emily Priest (Daniel), and Lucas Hargett (Jade). Survivors also include 12 great grandchildren, nieces, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Jolley Cemetery with Bro. Danny Kilcrease officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
