Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church welcomes new pastor Beau Walker tomorrow. Pastor Walker is from Benton, Arkansas, where he served as pastor of Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church. He and his wife, Alicia, moved to El Dorado last week with three of their children and are excited to become a part of the community.

Salem Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating their 174th Church Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. June 2. Host pastor will be the Rev. Robert L. Harris and guest pastor will be the Rev. Jerry Ross and Hosanna Baptist Church. Public is invited to attend.

First Baptist Church-Huttig will be having their Annual Family & Friends Day at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. Special guest will be the Rev. Jimmy Miller and Shady Grove Baptist Church. The public is invited to attend.

Jehovah Jireh Living Bread Ministry of Help will be giving away clothes on Tuesday and Thursday of every week. We do accept donations.

St. Luke Baptist Church-Calion will be having their Annual Men’s Day Program at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. Guest speaker and church will be the Rev. Steven Paylor and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Hampton. Everyone is invited.

East Faulkner Church of Christ celebrated their Elder Ordination Ceremony, which was held to ordain Scott Johnson and wife, Jane, into the Eldership. Scott has served as minister for almost 20 years at East Faulkner and was nominated into this position by the deacons with the congregation in approval.

Curry Chapel AME Church will be having Annual Youth and Revival Services at tomorrow’s Youth Day, starting during morning service at 11 a.m., where graduates will also be honored. Youth Revival will begin at 7 p. m. May 28-30; guest pastor and church will be the Rev. Felton Burgie and Morning Star #2. The public is invited to attend.

Providence Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating Veteran’s Memorial Day at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Rev. Rudolph V. Stennis Jr. is pastor.

Union Arc Missionary Baptist Church will be having their Annual Youth Day at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow; guest speaker and church will be the Rev. Lacy Miles and First Baptist Church-Magnolia, Arkansas. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.
