The Self Culture Club recently announced the winners of the 29th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, which was held on Sunday.

Woodlawn Leadership Academy of Shreveport, Louisiana, won superior in the band division.

For the drill and dance team division, EHS JROTC and Warren JROTC won superior, first place drill team went to the Jr. Elk Herd #473 and first place dance team was awarded to the Dazzling Diva Dancers Team.

In the car division, Ministers Alliance won first place, with second going to Johnny Benton.

For the walking division, Shutes Division took first place and Daughters of Destiny won second.

New Providence Baptist Church received first place in the large float division, with Beulah Grove Baptist Church — Wesson taking second place.

In the truck division, first place went to Costella Robinson and second place to Bethlehem Baptist Church.

For the van and SUV division, New Olive Branch Baptist Church won first place and Dinal Hildreth won second place.

LaQuita Tibbs placed first in the horse division, followed by Dexter Fifer in second.

In the ATV and bicycle division, Jacoby Hankton placed first.

Sims Mortuary won first place for the car clubs, and Mud Outlaws placed first, followed by One of a Kind detail in second in the ATV clubs.
