The South Arkansas Arts Center theater committee has announced the cast of it’s upcoming production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” The play is based on characters from Charles Schulz’s “Peanuts” comics.

Jacarllus Hill will star as Charlie Brown, the primary Peanuts protagonist. Lainey Walthall will play Charlie’s little sister, Sally Brown. Linus Van Pelt, Charlie’s best friend, will be played by Clay Evers. Felice Scott will play the part of Lucy Van Pelt, Linus’ little sister. Schroeder, distinguished by his skill at piano and love for Beethoven, will be played by Jimmy Martinez. Abigail Callaway will play Snoopy, Charlie Brown’s beloved canine companion.

Rounding out the cast are an ensemble of singers and support characters, including Addie Bosanko, Tyler Cunningham, Sarah Faith and Holland Ruff.

“I could not be more proud of the cast! During auditions, we had people who we had never seen before come in and thoroughly impress us,” said director Justin Howard. “There is a good mix of familiar faces with new ones. I couldn’t have asked for a better cast for my SAAC main stage directorial debut.”

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will run March 1-3 and 7-10 in SAAC’s Callaway Theatre. For more information about the production, contact SAAC at 870-862-5474 or visit their website, www.saac-arts.org.
