Billy J. Baker, Sr., 59, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2018 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
He was born April 2, 1958 to Hilda Mae McAdams in Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; Glen Cotton and Johnny Wilder.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Baker; son, Bill Baker, Jr.; daughters, Sherry Rowell and Michelle (Scott) Bateman; grandchildren, Caleb Baker and Kylie Bateman; three sisters, Jean Fox, Marie Johnson, and Glenda Shiro; two brothers, Lee McAdams and Robert McAdams; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill worked his whole adult life as a diesel and automotive mechanic. He was a doctor of motors and was educated and trained by many of the largest automotive corporations in Diesel and Automotive mechanics. Billy never said no to anyone needing his help. He was a true blessing to his family and friends.
There will be a memorial service for him at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20th at College Ave. Church of Christ in El Dorado.
