OCTOBER 10, 1956 ~ DECEMBER 7, 2018 (AGE 62)
Kenneth LeRoy Johnson was born on October 10, 1956 in El Dorado, Arkansas to his parents JoAnn Bowman and the late Phil Johnson.
Kenny accepted Christ at an early age at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor H.J. Rowe. Kenny graduated in 1974 from El Dorado High School. Shortly after, Kenney enlisted and served 2 years in the United States Army where he received a honorable discharge. Kenny moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1982 where he resided until his death.
Kenny leaves to cherish in his memory: his mother, JoAnn Bowman (Fort Wayne, IN), 4 daughters, Carla Jamison, Keshandra Traylor, and Jennifer White all from Eldorado, Arkansas, and NyKia Armour (Fort Wayne, IN) ; 2 sons, LeRoy Johnson (Eldorado, Arkansas) and Domonique Hogue (Fort Wayne, IN); 4 brothers, Antonio Bowman (Fort Wayne), Vaughn Johnson, Anthony Johnson, and Varrel Johnson all from Arkansas, and 5 sisters Linda Moore, Michelle Thompson, (Fort Wayne, IN) Tia Johnson, Vanessa Johnson and Viviette Johnson (all from Arkansas), and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Phil Johnson, and his grandparents, Tommie & Trudie Mae Thigpen.
Kenneth will be laid to rest in Concordia Gardens Cemetery with military honors.
