Earnest T. May Jr., 74, of Camden, passed away April 8, 2017 at the Ouachita County Medical Center.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1942 to Earnest T. May Sr. and Bessie Mae Culpepper May in El Dorado. He attended El Dorado Public Schools and was a retired oilfield worker. Earnest enjoyed fishing, riding back roads, dominoes, old westerns and spending time with his nephews and nieces before his health began to deteriorate.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Jimmy May and Ronnie May; and two sisters, Wanda May Richardson and Carolyn May Collins.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Fonda Richardson May; sisters, Susie Brown (Charles), Bobbie Jean Dollar (Earl), and Patricia Bullard; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service was held today at Holly Grove Cemetery on State Line Road in Junction City.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at Simmons Bank in care of Fonda May.
Cremation services were provided by Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
