Howard Dewayne “Duck” Buggs, 48, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
He was born April 18, 1967 in El Dorado, the son of Howard Earl Buggs and Luevada Tubbs. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and an employee of Code 3 Environmental Hazmat.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Wilbert Tubbs Sr. and Dewrie Buggs Sr.; and his maternal grandmother, Noddie Mae Phillips.
Survivors are his mother, Luevada Tubbs of El Dorado; his father, Howard Earl Buggs of El Dorado; his step-mother, Florence Buggs of El Dorado; two sons, Davonte Dewayne Buggs and La Deddrick Dewayne Buggs, both of El Dorado; two brothers, Mark Buggs and Nicholas Buggs, both of El Dorado; and five sisters, Virginia Buggs, Cecilia Gaskin, Shelia Buggs, LaBrisha Buggs, and Ashley Buggs, all of El Dorado.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Dr. George Calloway Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery on Southfield Road under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be after the service.
