Aletha Olivia “Letha” Williams, 50, of Little Rock, died on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at UAMS in Little Rock.
She was born Sept. 15, 1964, in El Dorado to Henry Lee Williams and Annie Merle Miller Carrigan.
She was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church and later joined Zion Watch Baptist Church. She was employed at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and was a graduate of El Dorado High School.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her grandparents, Clarence and Lou Della Miller and Henry and Geneva Williams.
She is survived by her mother, Annie Merle Miller of El Dorado; two sons, Christopher and Brandon Williams, both of Little Rock; one daughter, Cierra Keaton of Little Rock; one sister, Julia Vaughn of El Dorado; a step-sister, Barbara Carrigan of Little Rock; three step-brothers, Wilburt Carrigan of Chicago, James Charles Newton of Little Rock, and Martin Carrigan of El Dorado; and one grandchild.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado with the Rev. Donald Dredd officiating. Burial will be in the Lott Burgy Cemetery in El Dorado under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
