Athaleen Johnson Armstrong, 91, of Warren, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born Jan. 4, 1924, at Ingalls, to Edgar Johnson and Gypsy Veasey Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Reece Armstrong; three brothers, Virgil Johnson, Dalton Johnson and B.M. Johnson; and three sisters, Audrey Berry, Lorene Reed and Margie Young.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Stafford of North Pole, Alaska; two sisters, Willie Mae Lovett of Newport News, Va., and Elaine Yarberry of New Boston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Informal visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Union Hill Cemetery in Ingalls.
