Patsy Rebecca Brown, 79, of El Dorado, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 3, 1936, to Herman and Donna Berrecloth in Kentucky. She was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edward Thurmon Brown Sr.; a daughter, Laura Ann Brown; and two sons, James Garland Brown and Edward Thurmon Brown Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, John Brown and wife Kimberly of Hesperia, Calif., Nora Smith of Hooks, Texas, Donna Walthall and husband Kenneth of El Dorado, and Karon Ordoyne and husband Joshua of El Dorado; two brothers, Randy Berrecloth and wife Ann, Raymond Berrecloth and wife Dana, both of Pine Bluff; one sister, Fay Ann Etheridge of Longview, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. tonight at Young’s Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the chapel with the Rev. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Walthall, Larry Walthall, Joshua Glenn, Rodger Smith, Joshua Ordoyne and Katari Hawthorne.
