NAACP Image Awards

The NAACP Image Awards were held Saturday night. Honorees included former El Dorado Police Department officer and current Arkansas State Police trooper Trevoris “Trey” Tatum; El Dorado City Council member Willie McGhee; South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society Director Steve Biernacki; local business owner and promoter Michael “Mr. Mike” Jackson; Washington Middle School coach Andrew “Rudy” McDaniel; local business owner Janice Hicks; health care worker Angela Simmons and Meet Me at the Court founder and CEO Veronica Bailey. McGhee was the NAACP Image Award Committee’s selection for Man of the Year.
