Veterans Day Union County 2022

The American Legion Post 10 held a Veterans Day ceremony at the Union County courthouse on Friday. The ceremony, led by Post 10 officer Jerry Earnest, opened with members of El Dorado High School’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) presenting the colors following by a rendition of the national anthem by Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy Eric Meadows. Next, members of the Post 10 Auxillary Branch presented a flag folding ceremony, explaining the proper steps of folding a United States flag. The keynote speaker was Danny Burke.
