OZO Robot class at Barton Library

Dr. Dave Carty, director of Process Technology at SouthArk, led a workshop at Barton Library on Monday utilizing OZO Bots. Carty utilized the little robots, which move, turn and perform other actions based on color coding, to teach a group of teenagers about color and other scientific concepts. Attendees were then able to draw their own color-coded racetracks on poster board to test out the robot’s functions. The event was part of the ongoing Summer Reading Program at the library. Events will be held almost every weekday at the library throughout the summer until late July. (Matt Hutcheson/News-Times)
